The New York Times obituary on The Wall St. Journal today: “The Wall Street JournoList is no longer an accurate source of news.
The newspaper has been replaced by a daily e-mail newsletter.
What happens when a newspaper loses a publisher?
The article, which was first reported by CNN, was quickly removed from the Times’ website, though some of its content remains available online.
“The editorial staff, including editorial writers and reporters, have been replaced with a new team of editorial writers who are responsible for news coverage.
“The new team is not expected to appear on the Times website until late November. “
… “The newspaper’s website will remain open to the public for the next six weeks until the new team can take over the daily e‑mail newsletter.” “

A tweet by CNN’s Jim Acosta on Thursday morning read: “@jimacosta: The New Yorker has officially been renamed the The Wall.
This morning, it will be known as The Journal.
“The Journal will no longer be published.”
The Journal, which has about 4,000 readers and about 700 employees, has been published since the 1930s.
The paper was founded in 1929 by John L. Sullivan and Henry Luce.
It was a major newspaper until the 1930’s and a leading newspaper during the 1930 and 1940 presidential election cycles.
The Journal is owned by The New Jersey Times Company.
It also has a subsidiary called The New Orleans Times-Picayune.
“We have decided to move to a new name for The Journal to be consistent with our long-standing editorial philosophy that we don’t want to be associated with the name of any particular political party or candidate,” the newspaper’s editorial page editor said in a statement.
The New Yorkers’ move to name the newspaper after a presidential candidate was seen as a way to avoid being associated with a Trump campaign in the 2020 election.
A spokesman for The New Times declined to comment.
In the past, the newspaper has written about Trump, and in the past it has praised the president.
A new name is a great way to recognize the tremendous success of The Journal and the great work that we have done over the past 100 years.”
