The podcast, The Mike Mitchell Show, is one of the few podcasts that has managed to reach a million listeners.
“I’ve spent most of my life writing a lot of emails, and then, you know, they all go away.
And, you’re sort of like a sponge for it, and you’re just, you just keep it up,” Mr Mitchell said.
“And so I’ve had a really hard time.
And I’ve actually been addicted to it, I guess.”
The Mike Mitch Show is one-and-a-half hours of podcasting that airs every Monday on Radio National.
Mike, who is also a podcaster, has been doing podcasting for a long time, as he is a self-described junkie.
“This podcast is a great thing because it’s a way of dealing with that, because you’re not just, I don’t know, trying to write a letter to a friend or someone and it’s just, it’s not, you can’t, you have to just be a listener,” Mr Morrison said.
He said it was also an opportunity to learn new skills.
“There’s this whole range of things you can learn, you don’t just need to know the basics of a computer program, you also need to be able to do some of the things that are hard, like coding, and some of those things are harder than you think they are, you’ve got to learn how to code,” he said.
But he said he had to be careful about what he was giving away to his listeners.
For instance, he said, there was a particular episode of the podcast that was called ‘The One’, in which Mike, the host, gave away the latest information about the latest research.
“You know, he talks about how a study has just come out that finds that the flu shot saves lives,” Mr Morrison said.
That was one of many topics discussed in the podcast, including a discussion of the recent coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Morrison also revealed how he had received a message from a listener asking if he was doing any podcasts in the past year.
“Well, I actually do podcasts all the time, I have a lot going on, I’m doing, you guessed it, podcasts,” Mr Morrissey said.
Mr Mitchell explained that he was able to make some money through his podcast.
He told Radio National that he had been selling his podcast to various businesses and was working on another podcast that would go on for about a year.
He also explained that a lot more people in Australia were doing podcasts than he was.
“So I guess I think, yeah, that’s, that is a very interesting statistic to look at, to say, well, what does this tell us about the amount of people doing podcasts in Australia?” he said of his podcasting habits.

Mike said he was happy with the results of the survey he was taking, but he was not satisfied.
“One of the interesting things about this survey is that I’m a bit paranoid about being exposed to any type of, you might say, fake news,” he explained.
“It doesn’t matter what you call it.
But I think you might be surprised by some of it, you’d be surprised if it was just that sort of thing that’s happening.”
He said he thought he was the only one who had a genuine concern about fake news, and that it was a matter of trust in the public.
“That’s why it’s important to keep it to, you need to maintain that level of trust,” Mr Smith said.
However, he did admit that there was still a bit more work to be done.
“My problem is that, you could say, there’s a little bit of bias in the media, you get the headlines and you know that’s all well and good, but, you do get, you see the news that’s just a little more biased than the rest,” he admitted.
I might lose my job if I do this.” “
Sometimes, I’ve got this suspicion that maybe, I should do this, and I just haven’t thought of the alternative, which is, well I might not, but I’ve also got a lot to lose if I don’ know.
I might lose my job if I do this.”
